Sargent Study
I forgot to post this Sargent study I did a few months ago. Was focusing on his usage of color on the face.

Brush Economy
Trying to unveil the secrets of a more painterly approach to digital painting... Failed miserably. I need to learn more from the old masters and be more reserved with my brush strokes. Make sure every stroke counts. Brush economy, it's hard.
And something quick for Puck I did with a mouse because I was too lazy to take my tablet out.

Study
This is a study from a photo:
And here I was trying to apply the colors that I learned from the study.

The Dotes
I'm sure you have seen these two in my blog a couple of weeks ago, but here it is again!
Now, this was the first item set that I have published in the Dota 2 workshop. I collaborated with Alexander Frey (aka Spudnik). Although the end result is not exactly like the original concept, I am very very happy with how it turned out. He worked on modeling, bakes, and mask textures. I worked on the concept, diffuse texture, and promo art.
The promo art I painted over the textured base model.
This is the final in-game model.
Golem for Warlock.
A mount for Abaddon. This concept was requested by Manuel Virks.
A Chinese soldier set for Juggernaut. This was for Steffen Unger.
A Bali inspired concept for Juggernaut. It was very hard to balance the intricate details of Balinese accessories with broad details and distinct silhouettes Dota 2 really emphasizes.
Concepts for the upcoming Spring 2014 event!
Bruno Monti (aka Belkun) did all the modeling and bakes. I did the textures and promo image for the first Enchantress spear. You can vote for it here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215657752
This is the latest concept that I did. I will be collaborating with Andrea Orioli (aka motenai) for this set. Hopefully I get a chance to do the promo art as well.
